As we share the journey, it is our desire to embrace others with the certain knowledge of God’s abundant and overflowing love. We do this through fellowship, pastoral care, and prayer requests.
“May the peace of the Lord be with you…”
… “And also with you.”
Christ commanded that we love one another. This part of our journey together encompasses our response through fellowship, pastoral
care, congregational care and our health ministry.
“Sharing the Peace of Christ” is an essential ingredient in our worship service. This is a chance to warmly welcome those who are here every week as well as the first time visitor. All are invited to join us for fellowship following the service.
Fellowship gatherings are central to our coming together, getting to know new people and sharing the love of God. We gather after worship for refreshments, catching up, and listening for ways to extend our care and concerns.
Periodically, throughout the year, we have suppers and a special program such as our children’s Christmas pageant, “The Last Straw”. This evening event included a chili supper, lots of pictures and videos and a special worship service the night before Christmas Eve.
The church holds a variety of social activities—potluck suppers and picnics, hymn sings and our biggest event—the Memorial Day Fair that draws people from all over northern Westchester and Connecticut.
