Memorial Day Races & Fair
May 25th, 2015 from 10:00am until 3:00pm
Race Day Registration on Memorial Day opens at 7:00 am. Click here for race info
What a wonderful opportunity to step back in time and experience a slice of pure Americana. Savor the simple charm of a small town parade—the gleaming fire trucks, beaming Brownies and cub scouts (always one with his shirt tails hanging out) marching proudly down Main Street waving flags.
The fair opens with a series of races, all starting at the South Salem Library on Main Street with registration starting at 7:00 a.m. The 10K starts at 8:00 a.m , a 5K at 9:30. Youth Mile Fun Run and Peewee races begin after the others finished.
There will be craft booths, baked goods for sale, and many opportunities to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Races, silent auction, games, moon bounce and more! Plus enough hamburgers, hot dogs and ice cream to feed the entire town! Read more detail below and email us with any questions!
The bake sale features a host of scrumptious home-made goodies at ridiculously low prices. We’re open at 10:00 o’clock, just in time for a second breakfast. Also, every year we have a very special home-made cake to raffle off. This year’s cake is spectacular and huge (as big as 2-1/2 regular layer cakes). That’s why we’re asking $2 instead of $1 for tickets. Be sure to stop by and buy a chance.

You will find the quaint hamlet of South Salem, in Lewisboro, New York, an hour’s drive north of Manhattan on the border of the town of Ridgefield, Connecticut.
