Each week as a benediction, we go out into the world with a reminder of the Vision that is SSPC. We promise to eagerly share God’s compassion through service to all people in our congregation, our community, and our world.
SSPC supports several agencies and groups through volunteer time, donations and prayer. There are many ways to be involved and to make a difference in our community and our world. Below you will find just a few of those listed. Please read about these organizations and join us in our ministry endeavors.
For twenty-five years A-HOME has been providing safe, affordable rental housing in northern Westchester County by purchasing, developing and managing properties for its current programs.
Haiti Earthquake Relief
When the earthquake struck Haiti and ravaged that country on January 12, 2010, SSPC got to work. In two weeks we put out the word for the supplies that were needed. We set a challenge goal to create 1000 "GIft of the Heart Kits" during worship on January 31, 2010. Click here to see the photos of this amazing venture. In two weeks we shipped 1,333 hygiene kits to Haiti.
