When the earthquake struck Haiti and ravaged that country and its people, SSPC got to work.  In two weeks we put out the word for the supplies that were needed.  We set a challenge goal to create 1000 "GIft of the Heart Kits" during worship on January 31, 2010.

Members, friends, relatives, sponsors and partners came together in an amazing spirit.  On Monday, February 8th, 1,333 kits were shipped to Church World Service to be sent to Haiti survivors.

Funds continue to come in and this need will be here for a long time.
