Learn Spanish with Miss Nanette, with 20 years of experience teaching young children, she is the co-founder of Talk n Drum, in existence for 5 years. Talk-n-Drum teaches language and music through activities designed to energize and emphasize creative thinking and self expression.
Especially designed for young minds, classes will be offered for kindergarteners, accommodating both am and pm classes and groups of 1st and 2nd graders after school. Classes will be held at the South Salem Presbyterian Church at 111 Spring Street in South Salem, conveniently located off Rt 35.
45 minute classes of instrument playing, singing, chanting in Spanish and creative movement
Incorporating basic American sign language
Class size limited to 12-14 students
Session begins 9/14 and runs 10 weeks through 11/16/2010
Classes cancelled due to inclement weather or teacher illness will be made up after Thanksgiving
Children can sign up for 1 or 2 classes per week
$200 for one class per week/ $380 for two classes per week (same child)
