SUMMARY:Memorial Day Fair
DESCRIPTION:What a wonderful opportunity to step back in time and experience a slice of pure Americana. Savor the simple charm of a small town parade—the gleaming fire trucks\, beaming Brownies and cub scouts (always one with his shirt tails hanging out) marching proudly down Main Street waving flags. \nThe fair opens with a series of races\, all starting at the South Salem Library on Main Street with registration starting at 7:00 a.m. The 10K starts at 8:00 a.m \, a 5K at 9:30. For those who wanted a more moderate workout\, there is a health walk following the 5K runners around this course. Youth Mile Fun Run and Peewee races begin after the others finished. \nThere will be craft booths\, baked goods for sale\, and many opportunities to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Races\, silent auction\, games\, moon bounce and more!  Plus enough hamburgers\, hot dogs and ice cream to feed the entire town!
