We gather in the narthex at 9:15 for an open discussion on matters of faith, complete with bagels and coffee. Children and youth have Sunday School beginning at 9:15. Youth and adults from South Salem Presbyterian Church, St. John’s and St. Paul’s Episcopal parish joined together for SouperBowl Sunday last week and delivered the food, cloths and money Saturday, Feb. 8th, to the Community Center of Northern Westchester in Katonah. 356 lbs of food and almost $200! Plus clothes!
We just celebrated the fall season with our annual picnic which always includes great fried chicken and pot luck dishes and deserts! We had to pull more chairs out to accommodate everyone! Just two weeks ago I attended the 2013 Presbyterian Youth Triennium. Triennium is a large youth conference held every 3 years at Purdue University in Indiana. With over 5,000 participants people from all over the country and around the world came to learn about our faith, through the theme “I am”.
