"Souper" bowl Sunday is February 5th. Each year our youth collect food for our local food bank Northern Westchester Community Center. This year we will collect food for two weeks beginning January 29th and ending on Feb 5th.
On Feb 11th, our elementary age children will meet at SSPC at 8:45 a.m., share a blessing with Chip, load up and take our food collection to the Community Center. The kids will learn about the Community Center, supervise the weigh-in of our collection and then help place all our food onto the Center's shelves.
Please bring nonperishable food items both Sundays and help our youth feed those who are hungry in our area. The Community Center is in special need of the following items: Peanut Butter, Breakfast Cereal hot and cold, Juice, dry beans (1 and 2 pound bags), pasta and pasta sauce, canned fruit and canned soup.
